Barr picks up award after top display

The Bready opener scored an unbeaten 116 to lead his team to a 68 run win away at Ardmore.

Barr was the unanimous choice of the judging panel, beating off the challenges of Kamran Sajid, Andy Barr and Jason Milligan.

He received his bottle of champagne from North West President Alan Montgomery.

The draw for the quarter-finals of the competition sees Bready travel to Creevedonnell, Strabane host Donemana in an all Tyrone clash, Glendermott travel to Coleraine and Brigade entertain Fox Lodge.

The games will be played on Saturday June 14.
