Cookstown expect big finish in EY Hockey League final weekend
Cookstown take on Three Rock Rovers and a win of any kind will be enough to confirm them in the All Ireland Hockey playoffs and condemn Annadale to provincial action next season.
The Reds are two points ahead of the Carryduff men with both facing away matches against tough Dublin opposition.

Hide AdCookstown’s greater goal difference means that Annadale will have to win by more than four goals to survive and hope that the Reds lose. A point will do for Cookstown but there is little doubt that the Reds will be out to win when they make the drive to take on Three Rock at Grange Road on Saturday.
Three Rock must win big to have any hope of jumping from sixth into the last playoff spot at the expense of Pembroke Wanderers and Glenanne. Pembroke are at home to Cork while Glenanne face an away trip to Banbridge.
Annadale have it all to do. They are away to Monkstown and must win - and win big - to have any hope of survival in the top flight of Irish hockey. They are coming off a dreadful run of form losing 5-2 at home to Banbridge and Pembroke in two of the last three weekends.
