The visitors started well and put Bann under initial pressure with good movement across the pitch. Goalkeeper Naomi Matthews responded well and kept the defence focused to counter attack.

Bann settled into the game and used their home advantage to link play up the right hand side of the pitch and the forwards were unlucky not to convert the crosses from Jessica Hassan and Sarah Anderson.

Derg Valley continued to retaliate and attack the midfield and defence but the homeside held their composure and worked the ball back out to Megan Whan who made an individual run and scored to make it 3-0.

Derg Valley won a short corner and with an impressive straight strike made the score 3-1 which Bann held to the end.
