Despite sustained pressure in the oppositions ‘D', Banbridge were unable to break the deadlock until the 21st minute when Bann's hard work in attack paid off with a well worked team goal,

Amy Atkinson playing a super ball to the back post which Anna Moore deflected into the goal. Any attack by Enniskillen in the first half was dealt with well by the back four who distributed well to the midfield.

In the second half Bann Ladies continued to dominate the game with well structured passing from midfield to the forward line which led to being awarded a short corner which Amy Atkinson struck well to increase the lead to 2-0 after 45 minutes.

Further great linking play from the forward three gave Anna Moore the space to strike the ball from the edge of the ‘D' for a well taken goal.

The attacking focus of Bann allowed Enniskillen the chance to produce a quick counter attack and using their number advantage scored a consolation goal close to the end of the game.

Other players with performances worth mentioning were those of Sarah Quinn and Orla Magee who was welcomed back after a break from injury.

Thanks to Sheree Totton for umpiring. Next Saturday (October 30) Bann Ladies Firsts take on Annadale Firsts at home.
