Clash of the Titans to raise money for Hospice

David Cartmill (West Down Wheelers) and Robbie Marsh (Newry Triathlon Club) have joined together to raise much needed funds for the Southern Area Hospice Services.

At 1am on October 28 David will be riding from Bessbrook to Omeath, while at the same time Robbie will be swimming from Warrenpoint across Carlingford Lough to Omeath.

When at Omeath they will team up with Mark Shilliday (West Down Wheelers) for the long 80 mile night ride south to Dublin.

To add a twist to the challenge, David will begin his 75 mile race back home to Bessbrook to complete his 160 mile cycle, while Robbie runs the 26.2 mile Dublin marathon. Rumour has it that whoever finishes this section last will concede to a forfeit.
