RESULTS - Clann na Derg took its Minor B Football Championship semi-final against Baileghlas on Saturday 22 September, winning with a four-goal margin. They will be facing the winners of Saval and St John Bosco's in the final in Páirc Esler.

Clann na Banna U8 visit Páirc Esler this Saturday for the Newry Shamrocks tournament, hoping for a performance at least as good as last Saturday in Rostrevor where they beat Warrenpoint to retain the Rostrevor Shield.

POST-SEASON - The U11 South Down League consists of only two Blitz days in early October and is designed as a transitional league for those making the step up from U10 to U12 next year. It also provides some extra experience to this year's younger U12 players. Dates are to follow, but training has already commenced on Sunday mornings.

The Winter Programme also begins in October, with U6-10 starting Sunday 14 October from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Banbridge Leisure Centre.

The sessions for the 11-14 and 15-18 age groups will run on Tuesday evenings, 7:15-8:30pm, from 9 October to 27 November, at St Patrick's College.

Underage Prize Night is October 28 at the Coach Inn.
