Andrew Megaw squared to Kerri Hanna and she played it up the line to Sam Bailey who picked out Cochrane who hit sharply on the turn but his effort went wide. Megan Davis also had and great effort but it just went wide of the upright.

Thomas Bell pulled off a great save to keep the score at two one going into the break.

Damolly came out the second half and scored two quick goals but Slane had the never say die attitude and Niall Martin had a shot deflected wide for a corner and Cochrane swung in it to the near post and it sailed into the net. Cochrane was full of running and pegged back another goal with a thunderous shot from well outside the box to bring the score back to 4-3 and hit his third of the game.
