Canning rolls back years to win Duneane tournament
The Conlig bowler was the winner of the inaugural tournament at Duneane, back in 1990.
This year was his sixth appearance at finals night over the 26 years of the event, one of the most popular tournments on the indoor calendar.

Hide AdPaul was presented with the Jim Richardson memorial shield after beating Ross Mackin of Priestfield Methodist, Lisburn, in the final.
It was a fine effort from the young runner-up who was appearing in his first finals night.
Despite Ross making a good start to the final, Canning levelled the match up after four ends and was in control for the rest of the encounter.

Club Chairman Gavin Richardson thanked all the competitors who supported the event again this year with approximately 220 through the door over the 7 qualifying nights.
Gavin also thanked Tournament secretary Alex Bell for running the Tournament and to all the members and players who gave a helping hand throughout.
A total of £410 was raised for Friends of The Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital
The tournament was once again supported by long term sponsor Superseal Window Systems Ltd and thanks were extended to the company for its support over a long period.
