Bann round off the season
at annual awards night

BANBRIDGE Hockey Club officially closed the season this weekend with the Club’s annual awards night and BBQ.

Guests, members and friends turned out in force to hear who had won the awards in each of the categories.

Before announcing the winners, Club President Neil Madeley paid tribute to all the players and coaches and highlighted that it had been one of the most successful seasons in the club’s history and challenged all to better the results next season. One highlight of the night was the video link to Scott McCandless in Hong Kong who presented the Men’s Young Player of the Year and Clubperson of the Year awards. The awards were presented by Mrs Joanne Madeley.
