Bann pair impress

PJ Logan Cup

On Sunday, Bann riders went on to the P J Logan Cup at Coalisland and more bad weather greeted Ian Cochrane in the A4 race and Kevin McAlinden in the A3 race.

Ian had a great race to finish 14th in what is a step up in pace and distance for him but he obviously coped well.

Kevin came home 18th in the bunch sprint in the A3 race in which only 30 out of 75 starters made it to the finish together due to the high pace and hilly nature of the circuit.

Start of Club Races

The 2014 club racing programme for Banbridge CC members got under way on a damp and dismal Wenesday evening last week, when 20 riders signed on for the first of three rounds of the MAC Two-Up Trophy, a 10 mile two person time trial held on the Rathfriland road course.
