Banbridge Ladies get their season going with plenty of top scores

It's been a busy few weeks in the ladies' section at Banbridge Golf Club.

Tuesday March 8th

Mary Dooher was the big winner in the nine hole eclectic competition. As many as 20 ladies played and Denise Nelson took second place.

Tuesday March 15th

A total of 45 ladies played nine holes in beautiful weather.

The scoring reflected the sunshine. There was plenty of good golf, none moreso than on Ann Cromie’s card. She returned 22 points while several ladies scored 21 to compete for runner up.

Bronagh Sands was the lady who took second spot, beating Susan Magennis and Yvonne Galloway on count back.

March 17th

It was another beautiful day for the 18 holes Bank Holiday Sweep.

The winner was Yvonne Galloway with 35 points. All the ladies sent a big well done to Yvonne. She’s one to watch this year as already she is featuring strongly in the prizes.
