Banbridge ASC Swimmers of the Month honoured

Ten year old Patrick McNiff is a P6 pupil at Bridge Primary School and has been a member of Banbridge ASC for the last three years. Patrick has established himself as a serious contender at Ulster level with an outstanding bronze medal.

in the Ulster Age Group Championships as well as a hat-trick of silver medals at the PTL end of season gala.

Patrick is an all round sportsman, playing rugby for Banbridge RFC with outstanding success as a member of Banbridge Athletics Club. He also claimed third place in the Ulster Primary Schools Cross Country Championships.

Patrick loves taking part in the PTL and Teletots team events and has worked hard to improve his times at Ulster level this season.

Olivia Knox, also 10 years old, is a pupil at Abercorn Primary School and has been an active club member for the last two years. When Olivia is not training for swimming she enjoys Brownies and is a budding musician with a talent for both piano and singing.

Olivia is attending Stagecoach in Belfast where she is developing a keen interest in acting and dancing as well as being in training for a forthcoming gymnastics event.

Olivia is a key member of the award winning Teletots squad and achieved qualification for the Irish Schools finals and Ulster Age Group Championships for the first time this year, having secured a number of medal positions at Ulster Graded level throughout the year.
