Ballyvally archers host thrilling Battleround at Loughbrickland House

BALLYVALLY archers hosted their last outdoor shoot of the summer on Sunday in the grounds of Loughbrickland House.

The weather was fine if a little windy at times and a good day was had by all. The round shot was a Ballyvally Battleround composed of specially painted targets.

The targets represented various Medieval scenes from Crossbowmen in a castle to crusaders and from Norman Knights on horseback to Robin Hood! The scoring was interesting as some areas of the targets had a minus score!
