Away leg win for Ulster Cup side

BANBRIDGE beat Burnfield House four and a half to two and a half in the away leg of their opening match in the Ulster Cup.

The match was played last Sunday and Brian Mulholland was the stand-in captain, replacing Alan Dale who is on holidays.

The results were as follows:

Dennis Lockhart lost 3 and 1 to Jim McCabe; Peter Hillen halved with Danny Hawkins; Jim Matthews beat Jim Scott 4 and 2; Jim Cochrane lost 5 and 4 to David Cahill; Ronnie Halliday beat Alan Neill 5 and 3; Philip McCourt beat Michael Pauley 1 up; Jim Gracey beat Dusty Millar 6 and 5.
