Archers are off to Norway

BALLYVALLY archers are used going to competitions in England, Wales and the South of Ireland but in 2010 they're going international.

The club has been invited to take part in the Oslo Open Field Archery Championship in Norway through a local member, Norwegian Rune Naeri, who competes in Norway as well as in Northern Ireland.

The Oslo Open will be held mid-June and 12 Ballyvally members have signed up so far. They are looking forward to shooting in a different forest environment on the outskirts of Oslo city and hope to fit in some sightseeing as well, after the competition is over.
