Another good day for Youths

Saturday saw Coleraine Youth Section entertain City of Derry and again both U13s and U17s recorded impressive victories with the U15s narrowly missing out on a win and settling for a draw.

An under strength Derry side refused Coleraine U13s offer of players to make up a 15 v 15, and so the game was limited to an unnatural 8 v 8 with the points being handed to Coleraine.

A re-shaped Under-15 side drew 10-10 with their Derry counterparts.

Coleraine Under 17s continued their excellent form of late to deliver an absolute trouncing of City of Derry winning 83-7.

The score rightly suggests total domination in all aspects of play. The free flowing rugby produced by this talented young team enthralled the spectators and slick handling by the backs was of a quality that belied their age.

Coleraine scored at will and winger Callum Wallace had a field day scoring five trys in total.
