Dromore Ladies travelled to Newcastle last week to play Castle Park in a Junior League fixture.

This was the third time in eight days that the teams had faced each other in a competitive game and it turned out to be a third consecutive success for the in-form Dromore girls.

Despite having won the two previous encounters, Dromore were not confident of success as Castle Ladies are a tough nut to crack on their home green.

However, the Dromore girls are proving even harder to beat on their current purple patch and Rink One quickly established a winning margin to record a 15 shot victory. Rink Two took longer to settle to their task, losing five shots on the first end.

This early setback did not upset them, however, and they went on to record a seven shot win . The maximum of five league points were therefore gained.
