Adrian wins Boat Anglers Cup as Andrew draws level at the top of the junior stakes

Last weekend saw the inaugural Boat Anglers Cup competition on Corbet Lough.

There was a great turn out of anglers on both nights of the competition, held on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June.

It would be fair to say that all anglers had to work hard for the fish that were caught.

These creatures have become very cunning and are very fussy in what they are taking.

Both nights were equally as difficult, and all anglers involved could not have fished any harder than they did.

Results

There was another great turn out of juniors on Saturday 18th June.

Conditions were quite good for the competition. Young Daniel Moore got off to the perfect start by landing the first fish.

Daniel went on to catch his bag of three fish.

It didn’t take long for young Adam Morrow catching a fish, Adam also caught his bag of three fish.

Adam is having an excellent competition year, he is also in joint first place in the juvenile section along side Patrick Curran.
