Academy U17s share trophy as juniors tour Scotland

It was a big week for the Academy’s rugby teams as the U17 XV shared the Gary Clarke Trophy with Friends after a 0-0 draw in the final.

Meanwhile, the U13 and U14 rugby teams enjoyed a successful Scottish tour.

They played matches against local side Lomond School and watched the Glasgow v Zebre Pro 12 game at the impressive Scotstoun Stadium.

Against Lomond, the U14s triumphed 28-7 with two tries from Robbie Mathers, one from Andrew Denver and one from Jack Dorman. Jack Carson was successful with all the conversions.

The U13s triumphed 28-21 with tries from Robbie Mathers, Jordan Poots, Cameron Martin and Adam Hanna. This time Charlie Hillis was successful with the kicks.
