Academy girls go through to semis
Banbridge Academy are through to the semi-finals of the Schoolgirls' Cup after seeing off five times winners Lurgan College 2-1 in the quarters after extra-time.
Katie McKee and Sarah Russell got the goals.
That followed a 3-1 win over Wallace last Monday, McKee, Charley Brush and Orla Thompson on target.
The other teams to make it through are Sullivan Upper, Royal School Armagh and Methody.
The Academy will find out who their opponents are on Wednesday with the semi-finals due to take place on Wednesday 10th February.
