Is your new year’s resolution to cut back on spending? Or is it to save up for something expensive, but you don’t know where to begin when it comes to budgeting?

If you think your household needs a re-education in money, Shop Well for Less might be the perfect opportunity for you – this is how to apply.

The show

The premise of the programme sees hosts Alex Jones and Steph McGovern on a mission to help families change their shopping habits without changing their lifestyle.

By using their shopping and business knowledge, Alex and Steph aim to help families save money.

The casting call for the series asks:

  • Do you despair at your household spending?
  • Do you want to find ways to save money and shop savvy?

Well then you might be just the thing the show is looking for.

In previous series of the show, families and households have been taught how to shop smartly and cut out unnecessary costs.

“Shop Well for Less are looking for families to take part who want to learn to spend without the splurge, whilst maintaining the lifestyle they want,” the casting call explains.

It continues, “Whether you lack time to search for bargains, feel under pressure to buy named brands or need help planning and saving for a big event, the team from Shop Well for Less can help families to save as they shop.”
