Cadbury has revealed the winning flavour of its latest Dairy Milk competition
The votes have been counted and Cadbury has announced the nation’s new favourite Dairy Milk bar - Cadbury Dairy Milk Honeycomb and Nuts.
Formerly known as Crunchy Honeycomb, the winning bar was invented by a 19 year old Nottingham student called Shannon.
The flavour not only won over the hearts and taste buds of the nation, but was backed all the way to victory by Love Island presenter, and self-confessed honeycomb enthusiast, Laura Whitmore.
What does it taste like?
Shannon’s winning bar combines milk chocolate with golden crunchy honeycomb pieces and sweet, tasty caramel-flavoured fudge, finished with chopped hazelnuts.
The winning bar has received an official rebrand, including an all new design and name, in preparation for its debut as the latest addition to the iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk range.
The bar will return to supermarkets across the UK and Ireland, sitting alongside Cadbury-fan favourites such as Caramel, Fruit & Nut and Whole Nut, from January next year.
Laura Whitmore said, “I had no doubts that the Cadbury Dairy Milk Crunchy Honeycomb bar was going to win. There’s nothing like this in the UK, and I’m going to be the first in line to get my hands on it when it makes its official debut next year as Honeycomb & Nuts. I said I would attempt an Irish jig if the bar won, and I’ve delivered. Queen Bee has officially arrived!”

Cadbury Dairy Milk Honeycomb & Nuts mixes classic ingredients in a unique and mouth-watering way, which is just one of the reasons why it has captivated the nation – including presenter Laura Whitmore."
Local Nottingham Inventor Shannon travelled to the Cadbury Kitchen in Bournville, the home of Cadbury, where she worked with chocolate experts to experiment with over 90,000 possible combinations. Since then Shannon has seen her bar hit supermarket shelves nationwide before being crowned the nation’s favourite.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Honeycomb and Nuts is still available in supermarkets nationwide whilst stocks last but if you miss buying a bar, it will return in January 2021.
