Youth Council and Forum recruitment workshops are planned for Banbridge

A series of three taster sessions are planned for young people, aged 14-17 year old, living and/or attending school, in the Banbridge District.

These sessions will be active and fun whilst at the same time allowing participants to gain information about the Youth Council and the Good Relations Forum to decide if they want to apply for a position in September.

‘Game On!’ is a series of games and challenges to test your initiative and develop your teamwork skills. It will be held on Wednesday July 23 from 6pm-9pm.

On Wednesday August 6 from 6pm-9pm you can explore and express your community creatively at ‘Art at Heart’.

Relax on Wednesday August 13 from 6pm-9pm at ‘Relaxing Results’ and enoy some healthy mind and body activities.

Following these free introductory sessions participants can decide if they want to sign up to Youth Council or Youth Forum and, if so, agree dates and times of meetings from September 2014 – June 2015.

Being a member of groups like these provides lots of opportunity to boost your CV, personal statement and career prospects.
