Youth Centre now open

The centre will be open on Monday nights for senior members aged 13 and above between 7pm and 9pm. Thursday nights are for Junior Members aged between eight and 12 years from 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

To register call up on the night relevant to you and collect a membership form. Annual Membership is £2 and nightly entrance fee is 50p.

All membership forms MUST be signed by parents/guardian.

The centre offers a warm, caring environment with excellent facilities and friendly staff and volunteers,

A spokeswoman said, “We have a variety of sports, creative arts & craft projects, creative use of ICT, informal educational programmes, Training programmes for young people and adults, work experience for young people that would like a career in Youth Work and many other activities.

“We welcome young people from all communities, young people with special needs, feedback from parents and the community and suggestions from young people.

“We need and welcome the support of adult volunteers who have three hours to spare on a weekly basis. All adults must be approved by Access NI.
