The first event, which is supported by Banbridge District Council, will take place in the Old Town Hall, Banbridge on Wednesday 1 October commencing at 8.30am with a networking breakfast.

The main aims of the Protect and Grow events, which are offered free of charge, are to help small businesses access the assistance they need to protect their business and at the same time provide them with information and opportunities to grow their sales.

The focus on the first event is online trading. Nick Martin, E-Business Advisor with Invest NI, will offer a presentation on growing your sales through online market places such as Amazon and Ebay and is directed at both those with little or no e-marketing experience and those who wish to refine their skills.

Speaking of the event Banbridge District Council Chairman, Councillor Marie Hamilton said; “We are delighted to support this project because we as a Council are committed to supporting our local businesses.”

Any small business interested in attending this free event can register with Charlie Thomas on T 028 86769023 or E: [email protected].
