Women find their artistic side
FOURTOWNS WI members moved out of their own hall for the group’s April meeting and travelled to the Diamonds restaurant in Warrenpoint where they enjoyed an evening meal and lots of chat.
Members then crossed the road to the nearby ‘Paint Pot’ where artistic talents were put to the test. Each member chose a ceramic piece to paint and spent some time putting their creative stamp on it.
There was much to choose from: photo frames, money boxes, wall hangings, jugs and other items of crockery. All the craft work will be fired in the kiln and members will be able to take home their pieces at the May meeting.
The next meeting will take the form of a visitors’ night, with Dale Farm providing the speaker for the evening.
