Woman hurt in fryer collapse
A WOMAN was taken to hospital with burns after a fryer collapsed at Herron’s Country Fried Chicken in Dromore.
The fire service and an ambulance were called to the scene just after 2pm on Monday. A spokeswoman for the Fire and Rescue Service said they had to perform a “manual handling release” after someone became trapped. A spokesman for the Ambulance Service confirmed the injured female was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast for burns treatment.
