Willow weaving workshop event
If you, like many, are beginning to shake off the winter cobwebs and are considering some new hobbies or crafts for the spring and summer months then why not turn your hand to a one day workshop in willow weaving?
Well-known local craftsman, Clive Lyttle will be offering the opportunity for up to 10 individuals to learn the traditional and beautiful skill of willow weaving on Saturday 14 April at Limepark Arts Centre, Drones Road, Armoy.
The beginners course, which will demonstrate how to make your very own garden trug, will run from 11am – 4pm and will guide you through all the techniques required to complete your own hand woven basket; a beautiful item for use in your garden or display as a decorative piece in your own home.
The one-off workshop costs £50 inclusive of all materials you will need on the day.
