Wildcats Activ8 Clubs begin

Wildcats Activ8 Clubs will be running again in Banbridge and Dromore this Autumn, giving local children aged four to 11 an opportunity to learn new sports skills.

Banbridge Leisure Centre is running three clubs on Mondays at 5pm, one for children in P1–P3; one for children in P4 –P7 and a new additional ‘Wildtots’ club for those in pre-school aged four. All clubs will begin on Monday, October 14, and run until Monday, March 3 next year.

Operating for a period of 16 weeks with an intermittent break for Christmas, with the exception of the’ Wildtots’ club which will run for 8 weeks, finishing on Monday, December 2.

Dromore Community Centre will run two clubs on Wednesdays at 5pm, one for children in P1–P3 and another for those children in P4-P7.

Starting on Wednesday, October 16, and running until Wednesday, March 5 next year, these clubs will operate for a period of 16 weeks with an intermittent break at Christmas. The cost to participate in the eight week ‘Wildtot’ programme is £14 and will run from 5–5.45pm.

The cost to attend the clubs for children in P1–P7 is £28 for the first child and each additional child from the same immediate family will cost £25.

Application forms are available from local schools or any Banbridge District Council leisure facilities, alternatively the forms can be downloaded from www.banbridge.gov.uk.
