We’re off to see the wizard

This year, Lisnagarvey Youth Society is following the Yellow Brick Road to the Island Hall in Lisburn to bring a dazzling production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ to the stage.

Preparations for this wonderful show are currently well under way, with the young people and production team working tirelessly to make sure the Wizard is ready to greet his Lisburn audience

Dorothy, played by Pippa Duggan, Scarecrow (Rhys Waterworth), Tin-man (Alex Morrow), and Lion (Nicole Bell), along with Toto (played by the cute canine, Britney), the good witch Glinda (Anna Farrelly)and the Wicked Witch (Katie Bowden) began their Land of Oz adventure at the beginning of June.

The Wizard of Oz will be staged in the Island Hall, Lisburn, from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 August 2014.
