Deborah McMillan, Second Avenue, Newry, did not appear in court and was convicted on the tendered evidence.

She was fined £60, ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy and given three points for excess speed. A £100 fine and five points were imposed for not having a driving licence.

The court heard she was detected travelling at 78mph in a 60mph zone on the A1 dual carriageway.

She was given a fixed penalty notice and asked to produce her driving licence but failed to do so.
