The male driver is described as being in his mid 30s with brown hair and dark stubble. He was wearing a dark blue shirt, dark blue jeans and white trainers.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed the vehicle in the area around this time to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

Police are also asking parents to speak to their children about stranger danger. Constable O’Neill explained: “While there is no reason for parents to be alarmed, it is important that you speak to your child about keeping safe and not speaking to strangers. In this instance the child did the right thing and left the area the moment she became uncomfortable.”
