The village of Waringstown will begin its Christmas festivities on Monday December 15 at 7.30pm by singing carols and celebrating the season beside the village Christmas tree.
The event has been organised by Waringstown Community Development Association (WCDA) in partnership with clergy from
Waringstown Presbyterian Church, The Salvation Army and Holy Trinity Church of Ireland.
“Local people are invited to come along to enjoy the music and join in the carol singing,” said a spokesperson for WCDA.
“The village tree is located in the grounds of Waring House and we hope that this community carol singing will bring people together to celebrate the season.
“We would like to thank the Harnett family for hosting this All are welcome and should gather at the gates of Waring House on Monday, December 15 at 7.30pm.”
