Valuable gold jewellery stolen in Lisburn robbery

POLICE in Lisburn are investigating a burglary in which a large quantity of valuable gold jewellery was stolen from a house at Traherne Gardens in the city.

It is estimated that the jewellery, which included a variety of gold necklaces, bracelets and earrings, amounted to the region of £8,500.

Burglars are believed to got into the property by breaking a kitchen window on January 6.

Police are keen to hear from anyone with information or anyone who is offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances. The number to call is 0845 600 8000.
