TO mark the anniversary of the signing of the Ulster Covenant the members of King Solomon’s Rising Star R.B.P. No. 402 are holding a Centenary Church Service in Aghaderg Parish Church, Loughbrickland, on Sunday morning August 12.

Sir Knights are to assemble at the Sir Henry Wilson Memorial Orange Hall at 11am, for the short parade to the church which will be led by the members of Grallagh Unionist Flute Band.

The special guest speaker at the service will be Sir Knight and Brother the Rev. A. Percy Patterson, former rector of St. Paul’s Parish Church, Gilford. Members of the general public are also invited to come along and join with the members of the Preceptory in the church.

Later in the year the members of the Loughbrickland Black Evangelical Fellowship will also hold a commemorative weekend which will include a lecture, exhibition and service, as well as other special features. Further details of this special weekend will be released in the forthcoming weeks.
