Police have said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the 37 year old on February 24, however the death is not being treated as suspicious.

The father-of-two from Fort Street was a well-known and popular employee of Weir Kar Parts where he had worked for twenty years.

Floral tributes were hung from the shutters of the family-run business as a mark of sympathy by customers and fellow employees, where Keith had worked since the age of 18.

Colleagues there said they were devastated by his ‘untimely death’ and, describing him as irreplaceable, they said Weir Kar Parts would never be the same again.

Keith was the dearly loved husband of Miranda and much loved daddy of Myia and Ellie.

He was the loving son of Brian and Sheila, grandson of Florrie, dearest brother of Leanne, brother-in-law of Justin, uncle of Lauren, Todd-James and Kyle and a dear son-in-law of Robert and Lilian Jackson.

His funeral was held from his parent’s home on Friday, February 27, at 1pm for a service in 2nd Annaclone Presbyterian Church at 2pm, interment afterwards in Banbridge New Cemetery.

Weir Kar Parts closed on Friday as a mark of respect while the funeral took place.

The business opened only for a half day on Wednesday and Thursday.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Donard School and The Mourne Mountain Rescue Team, care of James Minnis and Son, Funeral Directors.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the entire family circle.
