Trampoline park set to open

Banbridge is set to get its first '˜trampoline park' with the official opening of the new business this week.

DUP Councillor Carla Lockhart along with Councillor Paul Greenfield visited the new park which is opening on Wednesday 16th March just off the A1 carriage way.

Speaking following their visit Councillor Lockhart welcomed the new business.

She said, “this is an exciting time for Banbridge, and for the three young entrepreneurs who are starting this exciting business venture.

“Mr Scott McMillan, Mr Robyn McClimmonds and Mr Lee Thompson are all local people.

“They have invested their time and finances into providing this amazing facility for the people of the area.

“I was blown away by the size of the facility and to hear of all the different trampoline areas there will be under one roof.

“The parking is excellent, the location is very easily located.

“And therefore I am utterly convinced that it will be a huge success.

Bookings can be made on the companies website Jumpbox NI or on their social media outlets.

“I would encourage people to use this facility.

“It has trampolines and facilities for every age and I know I certainly will want to go and have some fun at the new facility.

“I think it is so encouraging to see an enhancement in our leisure facilities across the ABC Council area and it is great to see local people accessing a niche in the market place.

“I wish the guys and their families every success.

“I have given a commitment to help in whatever way possible and I look forward to seeing it open to the public.”

Ironically Banbridge could soon boast two such trampoline facilities.

Planning permission for a second trampoline park, based at The Outlet, was granted late last year.
