Traders in Banbridge need to ‘have their say’ on the masterplan proposals for the town centre, said DUP Councillor and Assembly candidate Carla Lockhart.
The councillor was out in the town on Saturday along with Councillor Junior McCrum and former Councillor Jim McElroy meeting traders and said: “Banbridge has always enjoyed a vibrancy.
“I am taking this opportunity to encourage traders and shoppers to have your say on what is proposed and particularly the proposed closure of ‘The Cut’.
“It is evident that traders are concerned about this proposal. I am keen to hear from traders on this matter.
“It is vital that the master plan for Banbridge is right so I would encourage people to contact Mechelle Brown at the council, 028 4062 0250 or Una Somerville from Aecom, 02890 705111.”
