Johnston was arrested and denied knowledge of the incident. He later fully accepted the damage he caused which cost 200 to repair.

His solicitor said it was totally his client's fault and he wished to plead guilty at the earliest possible opportunity despite his attitude at the time.

Thursday's Court was told Johnston appeared in Lisburn Court on Tuesday where he was sentenced to five months for another matter.

He is also due to face charges of assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

Johnston was given two months imprisonment to run consecutively with the five-month sentence given to him in Lisburn.
