Thieves raid £10k of metal from house

Around £10,000 of metal and other items have been stolen from a vacant house in Dunmurry.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area sometime between June 28 and July 4 to contact them.

Thieves removed the heating system from the property on Groganstown Road along with lead from the roof and oil from the tank.

An external oil pump was also taken.

The radiators in the house had been removed from the walls but were not taken away.

The raid caused significant water damage to the ground and first floor.

PSNI officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity at the property or anyone with any other information.
