Thanks after Cancer Centre coffee morning

THE McDowell and Stevenson families, Rathfriland, would like to thank those patrons who attended Friends of the Cancer Centre, Coffee Morning, held in First Rathfriland Presbyterian Church Hall on Saturday February 23 in helping to raise the fantastic amount of £3,000 in aid of such a worthy cause.

The family would also like to take the opportunity to thank the following:

The Session and Committee of First Rathfriland Presbyterian Church for the use of their church hall, and to church members, who gave their time and energy to serve those who attended the coffee morning.

Those who donated eatables, including Sweet Bites, Rathfriland, who donated pastries and a cake, which weighed 12lb 15ozs and was won by Melissa Cinnamon, from Scarva.

The Old George Hotel, Rathfriland, for their kind donation and refreshments served on the day, and to the members of the general public, who also gave donations towards the total amount raised.

Lastly they would like to thank those who helped in anyway to make the event such a success.
