I just thought I'd let you know my views on the refurbishments happening in Lurgan at the minute. I think it's ridiculous to put money towards widening pavements in a town lacking in shops. The money should have been used to make the town a better shopping town, bringing more variety to shoppers. The lack of parking will also be an issue and will make me avoid the town centre even more.

Dear editor I am tempted to use foul language but won't. This decision will destroy what little remains of Lurgan. Will Lurgan Tesco close next?

Six weeks ago on the Banbridge Road (Tullyraine Rd) me and three friends were in a serious single car accident when we hit a tree, the driver took the full impact and was on a life support machine for five days! Because the Roads Service didn't bother to grit the road that night! He was only driving at 40mph when we hit black ice on a long sweeping bend. Lucky me and my friends are still alive today! Funny enough the Roads Service put new warning signs up two days after the crash?

It's a disgrace. The public has voted to keep the existing centres, that's why they won't show results. People from surrounding areas won't want to travel to Craigavon to share centre with drug dealers and thieves.

About the accident blackspot - roads don't create accidents, speeding and bad driving do.

I as a Lismore student fully agree with Cllr Corr, the lollipop man does a great job and is a valuable service to the children within the school community, putting the safety of the children first. Regards Niall.

Chief Inspector Jason Murphy there wasn't too many knocks on peoples doors when our mother was badly injured in a uvf bomb in the meadowbrook estate. 16 years no arrests, nobody charged. 16 years of hell watching our mother suffer.

Close to 500 people at the commemoration for Sam Marshall! Biased reporting again. As even your picture showed there was over 2,000 people marching to show their support for the Marshall family and their demand for justice for Sam.
