Testimonies to be given at local Mission Hall

Can God still do miracles? Can He change the heart of man? Can He give peace and joy in life? Can He deliver from addiction and brokenness?

Two very different men are coming to LMH to tell of the miracle that God has done in their heart and lives.

On the 1st March a local farmer, Charlie Weir from Waringstown, will be testifying of God’s grace in his life. Charlie is well known in farming circles, also formerly playing for Banbridge Rugby Club.

Charlie will tell his life story and how two deaths really challenged him about his soul and whether he was ready for what lies beyond the grave.

Charlie commented: “Really looking forward to coming to the hall.”

Dermot O’Neill is a man who knows how costly drug and alcohol addiction can be. It cost him his business, his marriage and much more. Dermot is from Newry and will be testifying on March 8.

His story of God’s grace began whilst watching a World Cup match with friends in the summer of 1986.

He distinctly remembers someone behind the goals with a board stating John 3 v 16

No one knew what it was or what it meant.

Twenty four years later he walked into a Christian rehab centre (Ballyards Castle) where he encountered John 3 v 16 again and learnt the truth and reality within it.

Dermot commented: “Delivered from 30 years of addictions it shows God can still do miracles.”

If you are free on Sunday 1st and 8th March at 8.15pm you will be very welcome.
