Local man Liam Brady recently handed out cheques totalling £2,700 - the proceeds of a charity fundraiser in November in memory ofhis sister.

Liam’s family said: “On behalf of Liam and the Brady family, we would like to thank everyone who bought tickets and attended our fundraiser night in the Cove Bar on Saturday 19th November to raise money for two great charities in memory of Liam’s sister Colette.

“We would like to thank all the businesses - Gran’s Cafe, The Elk, Wild Duck Portglenone, Whiteriver Hotel, Ikonic Beauty, Ego hair, Hair Garage, Escape Beauty, Barbers BT45, JM Fitness, Kelly Vivos Castledawson, Chic Hair Studio, Bella Beauty, Ash Blondes Hair Salon, A Cut Above Hair Salon, Castledawson Pharmacy, Mango Health and Beauty, O’Neills Sports, 1983 Omagh, Frank McGirrs, Kerry Hair Salon and family and friends who donated prizes for the raffle.
