SuperValu yogurts recalled over allergy alert

SuperValu have recalled two yogurt with granola products because peanut is not mentioned in the labelling.

The products being recalled are its ‘Natural Yogurt with Granola’ and ‘Strawberry Yogurt with Granola’ as the granola contains low levels of peanut which is not mentioned in the ingredient list.

This means the affected pots are a possible health risk for anyone who is allergic to peanuts.

The products are only known to have been distributed in Northern Ireland.

Pack size: 145g, ‘Use by’ date: 27 October 2015, 10 November 2015, 30 November 2015

- SuperValu Strawberry Yogurt with Granola

Pack size: 145g, ‘Use by’ date: 27 October 2015, 10 November 2015, 30 November 2015

- No other SuperValu products are known to be affected.

The product contains peanut making it a possible health risk for those who are allergic to peanut.

Advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to peanut, do not eat it.
