Summer scheme programme has a wide choice of activities

Banbridge District Council has an exciting programme of activities to keep children and young people happy over the summer months.

Developed by the council in partnership with Banbridge District Sports Association, the Active Communities Programme and Banbridge District Arts Committee, this year’s varied programme offers a great range of fun activities. For sports enthusiasts there is a wide range of activities to choose from including angling, athletics, badminton, canoeing, dance, multi sports, squash, tennis, and table tennis.

For those who prefer more creative activities, there’s an array of arts and crafts courses including canvas art, kite making, musical madness, papier mache, t-shirt making and more. Even the tiny tots in the 0-2 year age group are catered for with songs, stories and nursery rhymes courses available for children and parents/carers.

Details of all activities and courses are included in the programme guide which is available from all Council facilities. Alternatively a copy can be downloaded from www.banbridge.gov.uk
