Successful wellbeing event aims to improve access to services in the area

A recent event focusing on drugs, alcohol, mental health and wellbeing took place recently to enable service providers across the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon area to share vital information ultimately improving access to services.

Organised by Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Policing & Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) in partnership with Southern Drug and Alcohol Communication Team Connections Service, the event promoted understanding and working arrangements across all organisations.

Over 25 organisations attended and delivered short presentations giving an overview of their service and how to refer/ signpost people to them, as well as developing partnerships and new working agreements.

Participants also had the opportunity to attend a range of workshops focusing on relaxation, fun and self-care.Another event will be held later this year.
