Storey expresses sympathy after body found in Ballymoney was Norman Galbraith
Norman’s body was found in a drainage ditch after a member of the public spotted clothing in water on the Bravallen Road. The remains were removed from the scene and a post-mortem examination was carried out.
Mr Galbraith went missing in July last year and a few days later his wallet was found in the Burnquarter Road area a short distance away from where the body was discovered.

“I would extend to the family my sincere sympathy and assure them of our prayers at what has been a very difficult time for them since Normans disappearance. A word of appreciation should also given to the work of the Community Rescue Service who were extensible involved in the search efforts.”
Detective Sergeant Gallagher added: “Mr Galbraith’s family would ask media to respect their privacy at this very sad time.”
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
