Spectacular Aurora photograph

The Aurora Borealis - better known as the Northern Lights - have been giving rare and spectacular displays over parts of the UK, from the north of Scotland to as far south as Jersey.

But in the early hours of this morning (Friday), it was spectacular over Rathlin Island.

At 1am, Ballycastle photogapher was on hand to capture the scene as the Rue and East Lighthouse also lit the sky.
