Spate of burglaries could be linked

LURGAN has been plagued by a spate of burglaries in one day.

Two houses at Kings Park Mews were entered and ranksacked on Thursday March 21.

One of the homes was burgled between 7pm and 9.15pm and noises were heard in the other around 8pm.

And on the same night, sometime between 7.30pm and 9.30pm a house in Waringhall Place was entered and bedrooms ransacked.

A grey Audi found parked in the area is believed to be connected to the burglary and has been seized and taken for examination.

Police have conducted house to house enquiries and are investigating a link between these incidents.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity around these areas or has information in relation to the burglaries to contact them in Lurgan on 0845 600 8000.
